Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2025
1. Agreement
By using Whispree’s website and services (“Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
2. Services
Whispree provides payment link tools that allow you to create and share links to collect payments (e.g. via PayFast). We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may change or discontinue features with notice where reasonable.
3. Your obligations
You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and use the Services only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for your use of the Services and for any payment or tax obligations that apply to your transactions. You must not use the Services for fraud, illegal goods or services, or in breach of any third-party rights.
4. Fees and payments
Our current fees (if any) are described on the website or in your account. Payment processing fees may apply via our payment partners. We may change fees with reasonable notice.
5. Intellectual property
Whispree owns the Services, our brand, and our content. You may not copy, modify, or resell our Services without our written permission. You retain rights in content you submit; you grant us a licence to use it to provide the Services.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whispree is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or R100 if no fees apply). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or for operational or legal reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. liability, dispute resolution) will survive termination.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; we will post the new version and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them. For questions, contact us using the details on our website.
